POST CARDS

One of the most productive and cost effective ways to get good IBO prospects to talk to is with the 'Postcard Prospecting System'. It's simple and it usually yields from 25 - 35 good responses from every 100 postcards that are mailed out.

WOW a 25% response rate from direct mail is better than FANTASTIC.

I sent out so many cards and got so many calls I did not know what to do with all of them. I suggest people send out 25 to 50 at a time.

Here are the details...

There are several ways to do this: (read strategy # 1 for instructions and Strategy #2 for shortcuts.

Strategy 1: (Read Strategy 1 and 2 before you purchase supplies)

1. Post Cards

- Purchase pre-stamped postcards from the post office or buy them online at www.usps.com . Do not use fancy postcards with pictures, etc. on them. Just plain post office postcards... $30 for 100 or $15 for 50 of them.

- Make your own postcards- see strategy below and buy stamps for 27 cents a piece

You must also have a professional greeting on your phone i.e. Hi, this is YOUR NAME. I'm away at the moment, please leave me your name and phone# and I'll return your call shortly. Thank-you for calling.

2. Leads

Purchase pre-addressed labeled leads -Buy leads from First International Publications - 1 800 676 8886. This company provides address labels of people who are looking for a business opportunity. They are fresh leads and very good. They come in easy peel off sticker labels. The more you buy, the less it cost per name. 250 leads for $39.95 $500 leads for $59.95 1000 leads for $84.95

Creating your own FREE Leads - You can also access Reference USA from the library to get free addresses and target specific neighborhoods. Best for targeting families for membership. Look for neighborhoods with lots of kids and higher income. Maybe create a card with bullet points for cosmetic dentistry and braces.

3. Prepare Cards

In your own handwriting, write the following message on the back of each card:

          postcard front Postcard Back

It is very important to hand-write this message... do not use a pre-printed card or rubber stamp. Also... do not change this message!

On the front of the card, just write their name and address information. Do not put your return mailing address on the card.

I love the fact that people are calling me to learn more about our company. This is so easy.
                                                                                      Desiree, FL

For Membership you can hand write the following:

Joe,

I would like to talk with you about how to save money on your medical and dental plan
Call me at __________your phone#

Your first name and your last name

P.S. We have a great work at home opportunity as well. So if you know of anyone looking to make some extra money, just let me know!

Postcard Prospecting System

Use the interviewing script and just change the beginning -

Hi, this is (name) and I am returning your call. I am conducting some 15 minute prescreening interviews. Is now a good time?

Great, do you have a paper and a pen handy?

What I'd like to do is ask you a few questions to get to know you a bit, and see if our company and what you're looking for might be a good match?

                                                                      then finish the script

That's all there is to it!

Strategy 2: Time Saving Strategy (this works too!)

Want to save time from hand writing each card?

On a blank sheet of paper 8and ½ “ by 11” (landscape) write out 4 postcards with a black felt tip pin or Sharpie. It will come out nice and dark, also use this pen when you add the future business partner's name. Leave a space at the top of the postcard to add in the name of the possible business partner.

Take it to Office Depot or your favorite print shop and have it copied on white card stock. If you make a hundred copies, you will have 400 post cards. They will cut it for you. (Decide how many postcards you need and divide the amount of copies by 4).

Discounts at Office Depot- To save money on printing post cards. Go to your back office and click on the IBO Benefits on the menu on the left. It takes about 7-10 days for the registration to be activated. This will give you a discount for everything you buy or print at Office Depot.

Stick the label and stamp on the blank side of the postcard. Right the name above the message on the flip side, and it is ready to be posted

Have your script ready at the phone, because it will ring. Make sure that your answering machine is on, because in the first couple of days you may get more than one call at a time. I also take their email address as soon as possible so that I can follow up with an email.

VERY IMPORTANT you should take these to the post office and put in the box. Make sure you do not have these bundled in any way. Postal workers have been know to toss what they think if junk mail in the trash. If you get no response… this is probable what happened. It is not possible when you sent out 100-200 to not get a response.
