How to Refer Dentist, Drs and other providers to AmeriPlan

 Refer your Dentist and Dr to AmeriPlan

HOW DO I GET A PROVIDER ON THE PLAN?

There will be times when you are talking to people that you may find that their dentist, vision care facility, pharmacy, chiropractor, and doctor are not yet one of our providers. No problem!

You can refer them to AmeriPlan®. That means that you can send in their information and they will be contacted to become an AmeriPlan® provider by a Provider Rep.

NOTE #1: Vision and Prescription referrals may also be sent to the Providers Relations Department. However, these referrals are forwarded to the respective companies. These referrals are not handled directly by AmeriPlan®'s Provider Reps.

NOTE #2: BROKERS CANNOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SOLICIT A PROVIDER OR LEAVE LITERATURE IN A PROSPECTIVE PROVIDER'S OFFICE.

STEP 1

Email your referrals to AmeriPlan®: referral@ameriplanusa.com

STEP 2

In the email subject line put what kind of referral it is. Example: Dentist Referral.

STEP 3

Each referral must contain this information:

* Name & title (general dentist, orthodontist, vision, pharmacy etc)) of whom you are referring, their address, and phone number.

* Name, address, and phone number of patient requesting the referral.

(They WILL NOT process any referrals that do not come with a patient's name)

STEP 4

Call Provider Relations to verify they received the referral at: 1-800-256-3368 or when emailing in a referral you may want to include something like this in your email:

STEP 5

After verifying that they received your referral, give it at least 30 days before following up with them to see if they have been added to our provider organization. Please allow 8-10 weeks for new Providers to be added.

NOTE: Just because they have been referred does not mean that they are for sure going to be a provider. It is solely the prospective provider's choice if they want to be added to our provider organization.

STEP 6

After 30 days or longer have passed, check to see if they have been added. I would first recommend doing a provider search (http://providersearch.ameriplanusa.com) to see if they are there.

If you don't see them there, send a follow-up email or call to check on the status of the referral.

STEP 7

If you find that they have been added, GET BACK to your prospective member! They will for sure enroll now!

We have on an average of 100-200 new providers added each week and will continue to be the #1 provider access organization in the United States.

Remember that the fastest way to $100,000 in 2 - 4 years is to not sit and wait for a provider to come into the system, but to work the business in the areas that are open for you, whether that be a city not too far away, internet, paper ads or long distance to friends and family in areas that have more providers. We have people being very successful with this business on the top of a mountain with their closest provider 3 hours away. Most importantly have fun, be excited, and have a great attitude
